Today we’re looking at a lovely aqua colour from the 2024-2026 In Colour collection. Summer Splash is a beautiful bright summer colour which lends itself to tropical beaches and lovely fragrant florals. As previously written In-colours come every year and stay for two years and like Summer Splash the rest of the 2024-2026 In Colours will only be around for another year.
Today we’ll be looking at something a little different, we won’t be making a card however we will be making an essential when giving gifts. That’s right we’re making a gift tag, however not just one gift tag, but four gift tags. These are super simple to put together, a cut, a stick and a punch, no not getting violent, I am talking about the craft punches Stampin’ Up! sell.
The set I have chosen for this is the Bright Borders Stamp Set as it co-ordinates with the To The Point Label Punch, I have also used the new Hole Punch Assortment, 3 mini hole punches that allow you to add small holes to your project, but you can just use a standard hole punch from your stationary kit.

What you will need
- Basic Borders Stamp Set
- To The Point Label Punch
- Hole Punch Assortment (Optional) or a Hole-Punch
- Paper Trimmer
- 8 pieces of 2.5 x 2.5-inch Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 4 pieces of 2.5 x 2.5-inch Summer Splash Cardstock
- Summer Splash Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Clear Block
- Ribbon or Twine
- Embellishments
Instructions
- Take 4 of the pieces of 2.5 x 2.5-inch Very Vanilla and stamp one of the borders on to each piece, I have done 2 of one and 2 of another.
- Punch each of these using to the point label punch, then stamp a sentiment on each.
- Stick each of the remaining 4 piece of Very Vanilla on a diagonal to one piece each of the Summer Splash Squares so it creates an 8 point star.
- Stick each of the punched out pieces on front of the Summer Splash cardstock
- Punch a hole at the top of the tag (sentiment rotated to the top, thread some ribbon or twine through this and then decorate with embellishments of your choice.
